EURO SOLAR RENEWABLE ENERGY IN CANCUN

E-mail Print PDF

earth_with_sunburstCancun. Developing countries, the most vulnerable ones to climate change, are ideal places to promote the use of renewable energies. Renewable energies can be adapted to climate conditions in most countries and stand as an alternative way of providing access to energy and development without contributing to global warming.

EURO-SOLAR promotes the use of renewable energies in the 8 least favoured countries of Latin America (Bolivia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru), in order to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of rural communities, by supporting them in the fight against poverty and isolation.

This event will present the programme EURO-SOLAR in its entirety, as well as the results and concrete benefits accomplished by some of the beneficiary countries.

Monday 6 December. 11:30 – 12:30. European pavilion - Cancun Messe
