The winner of the competition was Russia’s Olga Kaniskina with a new Olympic record of 1:26.31. The event was marked by heavy rains, an unfavorable condition for the competitors. Better luck next time Evelyn!

On August 21. Rita Sanz-Agero, Guatemala’s female Modern Pentathlon participant, will start her competition today at 18:30 Guatemala time. She is only 16 years old.
Friday 22. Luis Fernando García, 32 years, will participate in the 50 kilometer march.
Sunday 24th Armado García, 30 years and Alfredo Arévalo, 32 years will participate in the Marathon run on the last day of the Olympics. We wish them all the best of luck and happy competing.
