Olympic Games 2008 Laser class Sailing
Juan Ignacio Maegli, Guatemala kept up his steady sailing and finished in the 33rd spot among 43 contenders.
Races 7, 8, 9 took place yesterday and Juan did a strong performance with 39th position in race 7, and then managed to do an exellent effort in race 8 and finished in position 12. He also finished in a good 15th place in race 9.
Race 10 was canceled.
The medal sail-off will take place tomorrow among the 10 best sailors.

We thank Juan Ignacio for his good performance in this tough sport. We also believe this was a good learning experience for our young sailor and do believe he will improve his skills for the next Olympic Games in England 2012.
