todd wilson iowaThanks to Commodore Todd Wilson, organizer of the "2008 Hobie 16 and 14 North American Championship", at Clear Lake Iowa, we got the final results of the race hot from the press.

Results of Hobie 16, 2008, North American Championship, at Clear Lake Iowa:

First Place: Francisco Figueroa and Jolliam Berrios, Puerto Rico
Second Place: Pedro Fernandez and Christy Guirola, GUATEMALA
Third Place: Bob Merrick and Eliza Cleveland, USA
Fourth Place: Janson Hess and Enrique Arathoon, GUATEMALA

rotated logo hcatThe Guatemalans Pedro Fernandez and Christy Guirola, Janson Hess and Enrique Arathoon bring home very good performances.
The Guatemalan Olympic committee helped with resources, the parents too, and the young sailors sailed their hearts out.

We want to thank Todd Wilson for helping us to report the results. Being non sailors ourselves, we had no clue about the result charts and the entire sailing lingo that goes on among those "pirates."

Commodore Todd Wilson is "THE MAN", and we thank him very, very much. He is officially invited to sail at lake Atitlan with our super duper cayuco.
