PARLACEN, the Central American Parliament awarded Dr. Hernán Delgado with the Official Order of "Francisco Morazán".
On April 24, 2008, Dr. Hernán L. Delgado, Co Director of The Institute of Nutrition Of Central America And Panama, INCAP, received the high honors of the award "Francisco Morazán" in official capacity. This event took place at the PARLACEN official headquarters with the presence of the high officials of the Central American Parliament and representatives of INCAP. This award was given to Dr. Hernán L. Delgado for his invaluable merits and contributions to the region for the last 35 years in his work at INCAP.
This award was created in 1993, two years after the PARLACEN, Central American Parliament started to exist. It was created in honor of Francisco Morazán who governed and fought for The Central American Union for 10 years, with the precept that only a united Central American people could be stronger and be recognized by the world.
