One thing can be said about the primary election process in the United States: it is historical, hysterical sometimes; surprising, unpredictable and the winners already are the American people.

The American people are finally participating; they are going out and are voting in masses. Record numbers of new voters have been registered. Americans are taking their country back, vote by vote, state by state.

The Americans got rid of the establishment candidates in both parties. It is not the big money that wins the primaries; it is the candidate's personalities and history that gets them nominated. This is a historic change in American politics.

obama.jpgBarack Obama has already changed the political landscape of America forever as the first viable black candidate for the presidency of the United States. Hillary Clinton, the first women to break into the arena of historically all white, all male candidates.
Hillary and Obama are booth very good and brilliant candidates, better than the last few Democratic candidates.
McCain is a maverick, a rebel within the Republican Party. He has backbone and he certainly has his own opinions. Even the Republican voters where smart enough to get rid of the other Republican establishment candidates. That has to be called progress.

candycrowley.jpgThe US media is the only player in this election process that has not been extraordinary. They have not been able to make one prediction that has been accurate in this race. Their frustration and exhaustion is growing by the day. This race has been going on for 15 months; the media is tired and simply can't get a grasp of what is going on in the country.
There are a few exceptions however, Candy Crowley, CNN's award-winning senior political correspondent has done a brilliant job in staying focused, objective and on her toes.

mccain.jpgThe candidates have surprised the media over and over again. McCain had been declared clinically death by all political pundits and commentators several times. But there he is against all odds, the nominee for the Republican Party.

Hillary has been buried again and again, and to the surprise of the pundits and commentators she has come out alive and well. Hillary is remarkable, and has been researched to death; there will be no surprises if she is the nominee. The media knows everything about her. They have reported on Hillary for over 30 years. And she is still alive and the better for it. She has survived the left and the right wing media. That is an accomplishment in America.hillary-clinton.jpg

Obama has a super star status and people want to be part of making history, he has become the inspiration of black voters, young people and all kind of other Americans that want change in their country and are inspired by him.

The extreme right and left wing bloggers, radio hosts and commentators have created huge amounts of disinformation and have been fed far too much money to make noise. This is another phenomenon that is unique in this election process, the amount of money raised and spend. It is literally out of control.
All in all, this is one of the most remarkable election processes of the US of A, because of the people. Isn't that exiting for a change?
