logo neww orldcraftsGuatemala City. From the 22nd to 23rd of October, Guatemala held the First Central American Artisan and Craft Trade Fair. The event was a total success and is a credit to the wonderful creative and talented artisans that Guatemala has and to the organizers. The event presents a new concept for a new generation of buyers.

It gathered exhibitors from the 5 countries of the region in one place, in one show, presenting for the next season, the latest handcrafts for home decor, outdoors accessories and gifts items, all of them 100% handmade by Central American artisans.

This event offered buyers and exhibitors a modern perspective of the sector, in which they will not only see traditional products with a different view but also will discover new products they didn't even imagine that existed. This event will open the door to a new business concept for handcrafts and home decoration articles with new product trends and new marketing ideas expanding the business development.

The international buyers came mainly from the US, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Mexico, and Central America.

bolsas antiguasThis concept turned the 1st Central American Artisans and Craft Trade Fair into a completely new Trade Show, presenting new products, better opportunities and clear competitive advantages.
